I’m doing things a little backward. I’m starting a podcast and then a blog.
The issue is that I can’t really start a podcast and then a blog to do it right. I have to do both at the same time so that people can find me…and follow me…and I can post things in a blog post called “show notes,”…and I can ask people to subscribe to my mailing list…and give them a place to interact with me and leave voice-mails…and…and…and.
So here I am. Launching my blog and my podcast simultaneously (and by simultaneously, I mean within a few weeks of each other). I hope I have enough of my ducks in a row that if you find me really early in this process, we will be able to connect and have a great conversation. But I just HAVE to pull the trigger because it is in my personality to keep fiddling with things. I must tell myself, “Michelle, it will never be perfect. You will always want to improve. No one will ever read your words or hear your voice if you don’t just click ‘publish’!”
The reason I am launching a podcast and a blog is because I really believe God wants you to get to know Him. I believe we are a generation of people who have very little understanding of Who God is because we spend very little time reading the Book He left us.
I get it. Sometimes, I don’t know where to start either.
I have been a follower of Christ my whole life, and sometimes I don’t know where to start.
I became a mother over 10 years ago, and then the pressure was REALLY on. How can I help my children hide God’s Word in their hearts?
Then, I became a spiritual mother to baby followers of Christ, and the question remained. How can I help my “children” hide God’s Word in their hearts?
God gave me an idea ten years ago. Then, at the end of last year, He gave me a way. Stay tuned. You’ll hear all about it in the first episode of my first podcast, More Than a Song.
Join me on this journey. Join in the conversation. Find a place to start. Join my mailing list, and I will send you the memory verse that started it all. I will also be able to let you know when my podcast and blog updates are posted.
