I’m Michelle Nezat and I hope to inspire you to discover and meditate on God’s Word through the songs you’re listening to on the radio.

I’m an enthusiastic Cajun girl. I love food, I love football, I love to talk with my hands, I love God’s Word, I love music, and I love to jump around a bit. This week’s song “Wake” by Hillsong Young & Free will put you in a dancing mood, but even better than that, it points us straight to Scripture.

I can’t think of any better reason that to dance around with joy and celebration than when I think of God’s unfailing love that will continue FOREVER!

This Week’s Challenge

Memorize Psalm 100! You can do it!

Tips:

  • Saying a verse one hundred times in one day is not as helpful as saying it every day for one hundred days.

  • Memorize the verse numbers

Day One:

  • Read verse 1 out loud ten times covering each word as though photographing it with your eyes. Don’t forget the verse number! For example, “One hundred one – Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!”
  • Cover the page and recite it ten times from memory…that’s it for day one!

Day Two:

  • Recite verse one from memory 10 times out loud with the verse number.
  • Read verse 2 out loud ten times covering each word as though photographing it with your eyes. Don’t forget the verse number!

Day Three:

  • Recite verse two from memory 10 times out loud with the verse number.
  • Recite verse one and two together.
  • Read verse 3 out loud ten times covering each word as though photographing it with your eyes. Don’t forget the verse number!
  • Cover the page and recite verse 3 ten times from memory…that’s it for day three!

Day Four:

  • Recite verse three from memory 10 times out loud with the verse number.
  • Recite verse one through three together.
  • Read verse 4 out loud ten times covering each word as though photographing it with your eyes. Don’t forget the verse number!
  • Cover the page and recite verse 4 ten times from memory…that’s it for day four!

Day Five:

  • Recite verse four from memory 10 times out loud with the verse number.
  • Recite verse one through four together.
  • Read verse 5 out loud ten times covering each word as though photographing it with your eyes. Don’t forget the verse number!
  • Cover the page and recite verse 5 ten times from memory…that’s it for day five!

Day Six:

  • Recite verses one through five from memory.

Day Seven:

  • Recite verses one through five from memory.

Beyond: The more you review the verses, the greater the possibility that you will retain them longer. It is worth it! You can do it! Let me know how it goes!
